So I've been a "one-man-band" for many years now and have looked, on and off, for members to help collaborate on music and new sounds. It's sometimes hard to find and meet new people, and even harder to get along with them for any extended period of time to work on new material.
The thing is, I don't really want a full "band" per se, there's nothing wrong with having 5 or 6 members, but it's totally unnecessary by most accounts. I want to play live again at some point, and that would require 2 or 3 members max, including myself.
So, what I'm really looking for is an individual or two (preferably between the ages of 25 - 35, male or female welcome) who has eclectic musical tastes and is a bit of a "jack of all trades" when it comes to instruments and recording.
If you can play a little keyboard and guitar, or drums and backup vocals, or bass and bongos, that would be more beneficial for the 'CONSCIOUS SLEEP PROJECT' than a person who is a guitar maestro but doesn't enjoy playing any other instruments.
This would be an ENDEAVOR of EQUALITY with no real leaders of the group, so please leave any massive egos or "controlfreakism" at the door when applying. I've already got about 30 songs under my belt but new material would be completely welcome, and I'd love to collaborate with a couple like-minded individuals on creating some experimental new sounds and tracks.
It's about making MUSIC first and foremost, but like I said, it would be great to get out and play live again, and the CONSCIOUS SLEEP PROJECT would be geared towards having one of the most f*cked up, mesmerizing and memorable viewing/listening experiences in town!
As well, it would be best if you were from the INDIANAPOLIS area, as to cut down on travel time, and would be awesome if you were willing to collaborate online as well since a lot more could get accomplished that way.
If you're interested in hearing some of my previous musical tracks they can be found at the following locations:

THANKS, and hope to hear from a couple serious minded people who are looking to produce some great music and have a little fun in the INDY area and beyond!
