Yeah, there have been suspicions about Jimi's death for a long time. One rumor, which has been around for decades, states that the day before he died Hendrix had actually been kidnapped, blind folded and gagged, and was being kept for ransom at a warehouse. His manager was the one who was called to come deliver the money in exchange for Hendrix's safe release. There have been suspicions surrounding his manager from the start.
Whatever the case, a tragic loss for music no doubt, but thankfully it still lives on through the generations.

Sad. Aside from maybe Dimebag Darrell (RIP), the guitar prowess of Hendrix probably still hasn't been matched to this day. Eric Clapton? Sheeyeah right!
