Dear Sir or Madame,
I'm sick and tired of local bands and artists needing to depend on resources like NUVO or X103 to promote their events, CD's, or concerts. I'm fucking fed up with bands and artists who act like Myspace or Facebook is an actual website, it just seems a little lazy on their part (even if they do have 40,000 "friends" on their list).
So anyway, what we've decided to do over the coming months is truly build up the CROSSROAD RESONANCES website to present some of the best of the best from the local community. Arts and entertainment, music, the best bars, clubs, restaurants... hell, we'll even cover local wrestling events, and haunted houses, and tattoo parlors and all other aspects of the "historic" Indiana scene!
Exclusive interviews, videos, essays and commentary, all centered around the state of Indiana and those hidden gems of trivia that some fellow "Hoosiers" might not even be aware of. And as we speak I'm getting geared up for weekly 30 minute podcasts dedicated to some of the best in local music.
Long story short, we're going to take things very seriously here over the coming weeks and months, but try to have some fun with this too. So to the few people who might read this as we're getting things started, expect dynamic new content in the near future as the CROSSROAD RESONANCES website officially launches! Awesome new front page on the way!
Much more to come...!
This stuff takes time, and if you'd like to get involved on the ground level, please leave a response here or contact me at mad247@weirdness.com . Thanks!
Sincerely,
~mad
